We're Not Your Typical Branson Roofing Company (Thank Goodness)

We're a family-owned Branson roofing company that got tired of watching homeowners get burned by contractors who overpromise and underdeliver. So we built something different—a roofing company that actually answers the phone, shows up on time, and treats your home like it belongs to someone we care about. Because after years of working in Taney County, Stone County, and surrounding communities, we probably do care about you. Or at least we care enough not to be the jerks who ruined your summer and your bank account.

Why Big Chief Roofing Exists (Besides Making a Living)

I started Big Chief Roofing because I was tired of seeing the same story play out over and over in Branson and surrounding areas. Homeowners would get hit by a storm, call a roofing contractor, and then get taken advantage of—high-pressure sales tactics, cut corners, cheap materials, disappearing acts when warranty issues popped up. People were spending their hard-earned money on roofs that should've lasted 25 years but started failing in 8.

That didn't sit right with me. Your home is probably your biggest investment, and your roof is the one thing protecting everything inside it—your family, your memories, your stuff. It deserves better than whatever contractor had the best Google ad that day.

So we built Big Chief Roofing on a simple idea borrowed from Native American tradition: the Chief protects the tribe. The Chief doesn't exploit the tribe or take advantage of them—the Chief serves them. That's the whole job. We're here to protect your home with quality roofing that actually lasts, to give back to the communities that trust us with their families, and to treat people with the honesty and respect they deserve.

We're not trying to be the biggest roofing company in Missouri or win awards from people we've never met. We're trying to be the Branson roofing company you'd actually recommend to your best friend, your parents, and that neighbor who makes amazing cookies. The one you trust. That's the goal—build something worth trusting, one roof at a time.

What We Actually Stand For

Protect the Tribe

The Chief's job is to protect, not exploit. We use Class 3 and Class 4 impact-resistant roofing systems, synthetic waterproof underlayments, proper ventilation, and installation techniques that actually work because we're protecting your biggest investment. We're not here to sell you the most expensive roof or cut corners to boost profit—we're here to give you a roof that performs for decades. Your home, your family, your peace of mind—that's what we're protecting. And we take that responsibility seriously, even when nobody's watching.

Honor Our Word

When we say we'll be there Tuesday at 9am, we're there Tuesday at 9am. When we quote you a price, that's the price you pay—no surprise charges or "unforeseen circumstances" that mysteriously double the cost halfway through. When we promise our Big Chief Guarantee, we mean it—if our workmanship fails, we fix it or refund your money. No fine print, no corporate runaround, no "let me check with my manager." In a world where contractors ghosting customers has become normalized, we show up and do what we promised. Apparently that's revolutionary now. It shouldn't be, but here we are.

Give Back Generously

We give 1% of our revenue back to the communities we serve through local ministries and initiatives because Branson, Taney County, Stone County, and all these tight-knit communities have given us everything. We pay off school lunch debts so kids don't feel embarrassed in the cafeteria. We give away free roofs to veterans and families who need help but can't afford it. We partner with organizations making real differences in people's lives. When you hire Big Chief Roofing, you're not padding some corporate wallet in another state—you're investing in your neighbors. And honestly? That feels a lot better than just taking money and running.

How We're Investing in Our Communities

Community Impact: 1% Giveback Program

Every single roof we install puts money back into Taney County, Stone County, Christian County, Greene County, and all the communities where we work. We give 1% of our revenue to local ministries, initiatives, and organizations that are making real differences in people's lives. Not just writing checks to feel good—actually partnering with groups doing the hard work of serving families, supporting struggling neighbors, and building stronger communities. When you choose Big Chief Roofing, you're choosing a Branson roofing company that reinvests in the place we all call home.

No Kid Goes Hungry Program

No kid should feel embarrassed in the school cafeteria because their lunch account is negative. So we pay off school lunch debts in the communities we serve throughout Taney County, Stone County, and surrounding areas. It's a small thing that means everything to the families it helps. Kids get to eat lunch with their friends without shame, parents get one less thing to stress about, and we get to do something that actually matters. This program is personal to us because we know what it's like when money's tight and you're trying to provide for your family. Everyone deserves dignity, especially kids.

Free Roofs for Those in Need

We give away free roofs to veterans, families facing hardship, and people who need help but can't afford it. Because some things are more important than profit margins. The veteran who served our country but can't afford to fix their leaking roof? We've got them. The single mom working two jobs whose roof got destroyed by a hailstorm and insurance denied the claim? We're there. The elderly couple on a fixed income whose roof is failing? Covered. We can't help everyone, but we can help some—and that's exactly what we're going to do. This is what the Chief protecting the tribe actually looks like in practice.

6 Ways We Stand Out From Other Branson Roofing Companies

  • We're Actually Local (And We're Staying)

Our office is in Branson, our families live here, and we're not disappearing to another state next month. When you need us in two years or ten years, we'll answer the phone. You can find us, yell at us if needed (please don't), and trust that we'll be around to honor our warranties. We're invested in these communities because they're our communities too—our kids go to school here, we shop at the same stores, and we see you around town. Local isn't just marketing speak for us. It's our actual life.

  • Our Big Chief Guarantee Is Real

Money-back workmanship warranty. If our installation fails, we fix it or refund your money. No fine print that requires a law degree to understand, no hoops to jump through, no "let me escalate this to corporate." Just a straightforward promise: we'll make it right, or we'll give you your money back. Most Branson roofing companies won't offer this because they know their work might not hold up. We offer it because we're confident in what we do.

  • We Use Materials That Actually Last

Class 3 and Class 4 impact-resistant shingles, synthetic waterproof underlayments, ice and water shields, proper attic ventilation—we use the materials and techniques that make roofs last 25-30 years, not fail in 10. Branson weather is brutal: hailstorms, ice storms, humidity, temperature swings. Your roof needs to be built to handle decades of abuse, not just look good for the first few years. We don't cut corners on materials because we have to stand behind our work, and cheap materials fail early.

  • Communication Like Functional Adults

Text and email updates throughout your project. You'll always know what's happening, when we're showing up, and if anything changes. No radio silence, no wondering if we forgot about you, no playing phone tag for three days trying to get a simple answer. We communicate like people who respect your time and understand that not knowing what's happening with your $15,000 roof project is stressful. Revolutionary concept: treating customers like humans.

  • We Actually Clean Up

Three magnetic nail sweeps over your entire property because nobody wants to find roofing nails with their feet, their kids' hands, or their dog's paws. We use our Catch-All System to protect your landscaping, siding, and property during installation. When we leave, your yard looks the same as before—except better, because new roof. Most contractors do one quick magnet pass if you're lucky. We do three because we actually care about your family's safety more than we care about saving fifteen minutes.

  • We Give Back (For Real, Not Just Marketing)

1% of revenue to communities, paying off school lunch debts, free roofs for veterans and families in need—these aren't PR stunts. This is how we operate every single day. When you hire Big Chief Roofing, you're supporting a Branson roofing company that's actively making these communities better. Your roofing investment goes beyond just your home—it helps your neighbors too. And that's something you can feel good about.

Meet The Tribe

Tyler Arnold

Tyler leads Big Chief Roofing from the front, which means he's still climbing roofs he probably shouldn't, meeting insurance adjusters, micromanaging every detail, and regularly doing things he definitely doesn't tell Erin about. He started this company to protect Ozarks families with quality roofing, and he's hands-on with every project—sometimes a little too hands-on, according to his safety-conscious wife.

Erin Arnold

Erin runs Big Chief's community initiatives, ministry partnerships, and keeps the entire operation from falling apart. She's responsible for our 1% giving program, the No Kid Goes Hungry initiative, and making sure Tyler doesn't do anything too reckless on job sites. If there's a tight ship being run, Erin's at the helm. She's also somehow keeping three kids alive while Tyler's out "micromanaging."

Bo Arnold

Bo is convinced he runs Big Chief Roofing, and honestly, we're not going to argue with him. He loves helping on job sites, inspecting quality work, and telling the crew exactly how things should be done. His favorite activities include wearing his tool belt, carrying clipboards he can't read yet, and reminding everyone that his dad owns the company. Future CEO vibes.

Peyton Arnold

Peyton keeps Tyler on his toes by attempting stunts that would make OSHA nervous. She's fearless, always has a secret snack stash hidden somewhere, and specializes in giving her dad new gray hairs daily. Her job description includes testing the limits of what's climbable, findable, and edible. Tyler thought roofing was stressful until he had to keep up with Peyton.

Ella Arnold

Ella's primary responsibility is making sure Tyler and Erin never get comfortable with a full night's sleep. She's excellent at her job. Thanks to her dedication, Big Chief Roofing runs on caffeine, determination, and whatever energy Tyler and Erin can scrape together between 3am feedings. She's the newest member of the team and already making her presence known.
