The Branson Roofing Company That Actually Gives a Rip.

We Are Not Your Cousin Ricky's Guy and We Can Prove It.

We are Big Chief Roofing, a Branson roofing company built by a guy who got tired of watching homeowners across Taney, Stone, and the surrounding counties get taken advantage of by contractors who showed up after a storm, said whatever it took to get a signature, and were gone before the shingles were even dry. Our office is at 117 Calvin Drive in Branson, our phone number is 417.203.0154, and we are here every single day because this community is where we live, not just where we work.

Trusted by Over 500 Homeowners Across Southwest Missouri

Serve Over Sell. That Is the Whole Thing.

Most roofing company About Us pages say something like "we are a family-owned business with a passion for excellence and a commitment to quality you can trust," and then the owner disappears into the background and you never hear from them again unless something goes wrong. I am going to try something different.

I started Big Chief Roofing because I watched a homeowner in the Branson area get completely misled by a door-knocking contractor who used language she did not understand about insurance coverage she did not have to pressure her into signing a contract the same afternoon he knocked on her door. She was not naive. She was just in a situation where someone with more information was using it against her instead of for her. That is the version of this industry I built Big Chief to be the opposite of.

Serve Over Sell is not a tagline we put on a coffee mug. It is the actual filter we use on every decision this company makes. It means that if your roof does not need to be replaced, we are going to tell you that. It means that if your gutters need cleaning more than they need guards, we are going to tell you that too. It means we walk you through your insurance policy before we walk you through our product catalog, because a homeowner who understands what they have is a homeowner who can make a real decision rather than a pressured one. The contractors who operate the other way around are counting on confusion. We are counting on the fact that when you tell someone the truth, they remember you, they refer you to their neighbor, and they call you back the next time something happens to their roof.

The name Big Chief is rooted in Native American culture, where the chief was the person the community trusted not because he told them what they wanted to hear, but because he told them what they needed to hear before a decision needed to be made. That is the culture we are building at Big Chief Roofing across Taney, Stone, Barry, Lawrence, Greene, Christian, and Webster counties. Every person on this team is trained to educate first, recommend honestly, and let the homeowner arrive at their own conclusion. The knowledgeable, friendly, responsive crew that shows up at your home is not performing a script. They are just people who actually believe this is the right way to run a roofing company. Our Google reviews will tell you whether it is working. We think they will.

We Work Here. We Live Here. We Give Back Here.

Branson Strong

One percent of every dollar Big Chief Roofing earns goes back into the communities we serve across our eight-county service area through local churches and community initiatives. Not a national charity with a local logo slapped on it. Local organizations that know the specific needs of the specific neighborhoods where our customers live, doing the kind of work that does not make the news but makes a real difference on a Tuesday afternoon when a family needs it. Your neighbor Dave is going to have a conspiracy theory about why we do this. He is wrong. We just think it is the right thing to do.

No Kid Goes Hungry

School lunch debt is one of those problems most adults do not think about until someone puts a specific number in front of them, and then it is impossible to stop thinking about. We work with school districts across our service area to help eliminate lunch debt balances so no kid in Taney, Stone, or the surrounding counties has to think about whether their account is going to clear in the cafeteria line. Kids are not responsible for their family's financial situation and they should not be made to feel like they are. If you want to get your district involved, call us at 417.203.0154.

Free Roofs for Families in Need

Every year, Big Chief Roofing donates new roof installations to families in the Branson area who need a helping hand and have no realistic path to getting one through insurance or savings. We partner with local churches and community organizations to identify the right recipients, and our certified crew installs the same quality roof we install for every other customer we serve, because a family who needs help deserves the same standard as everyone else. If you know a family in our service area who could use this program, call us at 417.203.0154 or stop by 117 Calvin Drive in Branson and tell us about them.

They Called Us. Then They Called Their Neighbors.

The Tribe Behind Every Roof We Build.

Tyler Arnold

Tyler leads Big Chief Roofing from the front, which means he's still climbing roofs he probably shouldn't, meeting insurance adjusters, micromanaging every detail, and regularly doing things he definitely doesn't tell Erin about. He started this company to protect families with quality roofing, and he's hands-on with every project. Sometimes a little too hands-on, according to his safety-conscious wife.

Erin Arnold

Erin helps run Big Chief's community initiatives, ministry partnerships, and keeps the entire operation from falling apart. She's responsible for our Branson Strong, No Kid Goes Hungry, and Free Roofs for Families in Need programs, and making sure Tyler doesn't do anything too reckless on job sites. If there's a tight ship being run, Erin's at the helm. She's also somehow keeping three kids alive while Tyler's out "micromanaging."

Bo Arnold

Bo is convinced he runs Big Chief Roofing, and honestly, we're not going to argue with him. He loves helping on job sites, inspecting quality work, and telling the crew exactly how things should be done. His favorite activities include wearing his tool belt, carrying clipboards he can't read yet, and reminding everyone that his dad owns the company. Future CEO vibes.

Peyton Arnold

Peyton keeps Tyler on his toes by attempting stunts that would make OSHA nervous. She's fearless, always has a secret snack stash hidden somewhere, and specializes in giving her dad new gray hairs daily. Her job description includes testing the limits of what's climbable, findable, and edible. Tyler thought roofing was stressful until he had to keep up with Peyton.

Ella Arnold

Ella's primary responsibility is making sure Tyler and Erin never get comfortable with a full night's sleep. She's excellent at her job. Thanks to her dedication, Big Chief Roofing runs on caffeine, determination, and whatever energy Tyler and Erin can scrape together between 3am feedings. She's the newest member of the team and already making her presence known.

Questions Branson Homeowners Ask Before Hiring Anyone.

  • "Is Big Chief Roofing actually local or are you one of those storm-chasing companies that shows up after a hail event and disappears six months later?"

We are local, and we can prove it with a physical address rather than a post office box and a leased phone number. Our office is at 117 Calvin Drive in Branson, Missouri. Tyler Arnold lives and works in this community, our crew members are from this community, and our three giveback programs are specifically built around the schools, churches, and families in Taney, Stone, and the surrounding counties. Storm chasers follow the radar. We were already here before the storm, and we will be here long after the insurance check clears. Our BBB accreditation, Directorii certification, and Table Rock Lake Area Chamber of Commerce membership are all public and verifiable right now. Look them up before you call us. That is exactly what we would tell our own family to do.

  • "How do I know Big Chief Roofing is not going to pressure me into something I do not need?"

Because our entire business model is built on the opposite of that. Serve Over Sell is the core value this company was founded on, which means if your roof does not need to be replaced, we are going to tell you that in writing with photos to back it up. High-pressure tactics work exactly once and then generate the kind of Google review that follows a company forever. We document every inspection with CompanyCam photos so you can see exactly what we found and make your own decision with your own eyes rather than taking our word for it. We also provide a detailed written estimate that does not change based on what your insurance pays, so there is no bait-and-switch between what we quote and what shows up on your invoice. If any of that sounds different from a contractor you have dealt with before, that is intentional.

  • "What certifications and licenses does Big Chief Roofing carry?"

We are Atlas Pro certified installers, which allows us to offer the Atlas Signature Select roofing system with extended workmanship warranties that non-certified contractors simply cannot provide. We are also RainDrop Pro certified gutter guard installers, which means both the product and our installation work are covered under the full manufacturer warranty. Our BBB accreditation is current, our Directorii certification is active, and every project we complete carries our Big Chief Promise, which is a full money-back workmanship guarantee with no prorating, no trip charges, and no fine print that quietly redefines what the guarantee actually covers. We carry full liability insurance and workers compensation coverage on every job. If a contractor ever declines to provide proof of insurance before getting on your roof, that is your answer about whether to hire them.

  • "What areas does Big Chief Roofing service?"

We service Taney, Stone, Barry, Lawrence, Greene, Christian, and Webster counties. That covers the full Branson area including the Table Rock Lake corridor, Hollister, Forsyth, Kimberling City, Reeds Spring, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Monett, Cassville, and the communities in between. If you are not sure whether your address falls within our service area, call us at 417.203.0154 and we will tell you in about thirty seconds. We do not send you to a form and make you wait two business days to find out whether we can help you.

  • "What is the Big Chief Promise and does it actually mean anything?"

It means exactly what it says, which we realize is not the answer most people expect from a roofing company warranty section. If a problem occurs because of our installation, we come back and fix it immediately at zero cost to you. No prorating based on how old the installation is. No trip charges. No conversation where we explain why the issue is technically not covered under the specific language of the warranty. If we cannot fix the problem for any reason, we refund your entire purchase price. Every single cent. The Big Chief Promise exists because a workmanship guarantee that requires a lawyer to interpret is not actually a guarantee. It is a document designed to sound reassuring while protecting the contractor rather than the homeowner. Ours protects the homeowner, full stop.

  • "How does Big Chief Roofing give back to the Branson community?"

Three ways, and all three are ongoing rather than one-time events tied to a press release. Branson Strong directs one percent of our revenue back into the communities we serve through local churches and community initiatives across our eight-county service area. No Kid Goes Hungry partners with school districts across our service area to eliminate school lunch debt balances so no kid has to think about whether their account is going to clear in the cafeteria line. Free Roofs for Families in Need donates complete roof installations every year to families in the Branson area who have no realistic path to a new roof through insurance or savings. If you want to nominate a family for the Free Roofs program, refer a school district for the lunch debt program, or connect a local church or initiative with Branson Strong, call us at 417.203.0154 or stop by 117 Calvin Drive and talk to us in person. We will not put you on hold.
